PROFESSOR WOLE SOYINKA, PROPHET T.B JOSHUA AND TRUMPISM

Prof. Wole Soyinka has confirmed he will be tearing his green card as promised on Trump's swearing-in day. FutureImpossibleTense

Dark triad, a subject in psychology that deals with three personality traits: Machiavellianism, Narcissm, and Psychopathy (Wikipedia) will need to adopt a new brother. The dark implies that people possessing these traits have malevolent qualities. In case you do not know, malevolent is wishing harm on others, while benevolent is wishing good on others.

The term Machiavellianism and Narcissm was coined from two individauls first thought or observed to possess these characteristics respectively.
Machiavellianism is the employment of cunning and duplicity in statescraft or in general conduct (Oxford English Dictionary).
Nicollo Machiavelli an Italian renaissance diplomat and writer published 'IL PRINCIPE' translated 'THE PRINCE' in 1532; a book which is the first printed course on Political tricks and Manual for the Con-Men.
Narcissm was also coined from Narcissus - Greek mythology in which a young man fell in love with his own reflection in a pool of water. It was popularised by Sigmund Freud in 1914.

I tend to wonder how many of our Politicians possess Machiavellianism trait - a lot you will agree with me. Population of our 'think they are beautiful' ladies and guys that possess Narcissm trait - many you will reply. I am afraid to tell you there is another dark trait called 'TRUMPISM'; which will make dark triad change name to 'dark quadrant': Machiavellism, Narcissm, Psychopathy, and Trumpism.

Trumpism is the expression of oneself without empathy. A condition in which the speaker does not choose his/her words carefully; he/she speaks to defend his/her cause only (my defination).

The first person to publicly display his Trumpism last week was our nation's sole Nobel Prize Winner, Prof. Wole Soyinka. In his Trumpic reply to media viral headline ''Will Prof. Soyinka tear his green card has promised'', he was quoted in the second to the last paragraph of his published reply ''RED CARD, GREEN CARD – Notes Towards The Management Of Hysteria'' in Vanguard Newspaper, ''Let me end with a Red Card to those noisome creatures, the nattering nit-wits of Internet: maybe Trumpland is not as despicable as the Naijaland you impose on our reality from your secure cesspits of anonymity.'' So a Prof. can possess this trait! Anyway he is human - to err is man.

Another public icon who displayed Trumpism idiosyncracy was the Synagogue Church General Overseer, the OAP of Emmanuel TV, Prophet T.B Joshua. In his response to his critics during a service at the headquarter of his Church in Ikotun, Lagos on Sunday according to Vanguard News Paper, he said ''In this case, we need the spirit of a Prophet to recognise or to know a Peophet. Our levels are different. We are not on the same level. We might have great cathedrals, huge halls, and all kinds of activities that are good by human standards but human point of view is limited''. I still ponder who the second sentence 'We might have great cathedrals...' points to.

Trump might not only have another 'dark trait' named after him, but more English grammers might be invented by him. Associate Professor Farooq Kperogi in his daily trust column ''Notes from Atlanta' wrote an article titled ''Mangled Trumpian Grammar as New American English?'' He dissected Trumps grammer during is campaign, quoting media reports such as ''Trump tweeted: Wow, every poll said I won the debate last night. Great honer''. He misspelt honer for honor. Also another tweet of his ''Lying Ted Cruz and leightweight chocker Marco Rubio teamed up last night in a last ditch effort to stop our great movement. They failed!'' Where he misspelt leightweight for lightweight. Trump was also corrected after saying "They talk good around election" instead of “they speak well around election time,”a statement that made many English teachers took to social media to say he had lost their votes.

If Kperogi's postulation is right, supported by his well analysed history of some English words invention such as the case of the Queen of England who misused the expression ''due to'' and inadvertently caused the rule to be changed in favor of her misuse, Trump might be inventing new English words.

‘Due to inability to market their grain, prairie farmers have been faced for some                                                                   time with a serious shortage,’
The Queens blunder from the throne    - no longer a bad grammer.

Trumpland real estate as Prof. Soyinka recently referred to USA might not be the only won deal for Trump, but might be joined with new dark trait (Trumpism) and invention of new English words.

ARE WE DECEIVED AGAIN?

This is a recap of my blog titled 'Confirmed NYSC Students to receive #50,000 naira allowance'.

Till when will this continue. Thousand promise, zero fulfilment.

The only thing that can be broken without being touched is 'Promise'

"All unemployed graduates will be receiving an allowance of #5,000" promised. Also "all primary school pupil will be given free lunch" the not to be fulfilled promise continued.

Wait! I am not for you and I am not for them. I am simply non-partisan. You need to be in the system to know where things actually went wrong. All the hard to achieve promise by the present government were blurted out of ignorance of the thorough operation of their scape goat government (PDP). It is easier to criticize a result without noticing the efforts put in its achievement.

Youth wake-up and fight yourself-stop fighting the government. Yes! You've heard this a thousand times but it is still important to hear it again. Five Thousand Naira for unemployed graduate 'Is it enough to sustain all your expenses in a month?' At least it will cover some expenses. Hmmm! Wake up from your slumber. Is your life goal that worthless. Are you dreaming of having a source of income that covers part of your expenses or the one that covers all your expenses and that of people around you? I have never heard or read of a successful man/woman who survived on the government less-nothing branded allowance.

Stop waiting and praying this ning-nong bill is passed. Make your own bill; draft your own constitution. You have greatness within you. Forget the government and remember yourself. In normal sense government is to be there for many people and you (an individual) is meant to be for yourself; but the case is reversed 'the government is there for itself and you (an individual) is meant for a lot of people' because if you don't who will? See the change of tide. If you don't succeeed thousands of destinies attached to you will be doomed. Dangote company employs more than 5,000 employees, if he doesn't who will? The government? You know the answer.

Boycott all their stupid propagandas and mancott your determination-your dream. Their propaganda is always like a one-eyed man describing the inner structure of a large building from afar. The truth always dawn on them when they enter. They can either play by the set rules or change the game. They always subscribe to the 'play by the rule method' instead of the best: change the game method.

RECESSION WILL BE OVER BY DECEMBER 2016

The CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele was quoted by media to have said '' Nigeria will be out of recession by December 2016 ''. The minister of Finance, Kemi Adeosun and Chairman of budget and finance committee Udo Udomma also assured Nigerians we are coming out of recession now and the last time. Future Impossible Tense

Nigerians don't need to come out of recession because we are an adapting nation and not an enduring one. All the rants of we are coming out of recession by December is nothing but a prediction of our full adaptation stage. The scam of Nigerians coming out of recession in the actual sense is that we will be adapting with the recession.

Anyway it is good the concerned employees are standing up to their responsibility; it's disappointing the Chief employees (the President and Vice President) have not. They have not accepted the bucks stops at their table. It is annoying when you here them blaming others for their misfortunes especially the President. Always advocating change without changing himself.

My main dissatisfaction with this administration is that right from day one it has always been pointing accusation fingers to either its opposition (mostly) or to member of its cabinet. Recession was caused by PDP administration, insertion of Obama's speech in his speech was caused by an overzealous employee-he always have someone to blame for everything. One thing I am sure of though I am not in support of Goodluck's administration concerning its recklessness to permit corruption-no other politician if in Goodluck's shoe would not have came out to defend himself of all allegations leveled against him.

Mr President do your assignment and stop pointing accusation fingers. Leave be the past administration, let us criticize them ourself. Do your part. The best praise is not the one you give yourself rather the one earned from others. However, I was disappointed by GEJ administration and indifferent about Buhari's election right from the start. My only headache is the pointed accusing fingers-no matter how much you do that it can never re-write the past. Face your giant and stop whining!

CONFIRMED: NIGERIA CORPERS (NYSC) WILL BE PAID #50,000

According to a journalist of a not so popular broadcasting company in Nigeria, the bill of Fifty Thousand Naira Salary (FTNS) for NYSC youth has been passed with the national assembly consensus. (FutureImpossibleTense).

"All unemployed graduates will be receiving an allowance of #5,000" promised. Also "all primary school pupil will be given free lunch" the not to be fulfiled promise continued.

Wait! I am not for you and I am not for them. I am simply non-partisan. You need to be in the system to know where things actually went wrong. A FOREIGNER DUPED A NIGERIAN 12MILLION NAIRA

Seems this is a change of tide as a Nigerian is duped of 12million naira by a foreigner(FutureImpossibleTense).

Even though our G-guys under the auspice of retrieving our forefathers money duped foreigners chunks of money-we are more enslaved by their actions than our forefathers. The duped money by these guys is still returned to these people in terms of luxury purchase. Everybody prefer imported products and services, there are many products that has no local competitor. So the question ''Who is now the slave-they or we?'' We are still the slave!  It is really true you can only take the girl out of the village and not the village from the girl. Emancipation of slave trade was enacted but emancipation of slave thinking is still a FutureImpossibleTense.

If our yahoo guys are considering those chunks as earned money it's high time they realise they are collecting from the cub to the lion and lioness. These money still goes back to them through purchase of phones and whatever; thus their improved economy with our country as major dumping ground for their produce. Let me ask you a question, are our people in the richest people's list enslaving or making us boss? To me they are both. They enslave us by still seeking for services abroad such as Dangote's refinery story where he is employing the service of Japaneses with claim that there is no expert with the required experience(which is true from an enslaving mindset view). I am not against employing this people's service,  why can't he make some engineering companies work alongside with them so they can have the experience and we willn't be seeking their service in the future again. They are making us boss because we are employing the foreigners; which means they depend on us for employment.

The only way to build is from the bottom to the top and not vice versa. The leaders are corrupt fine; yes I agree but the future leaders? They are already corrupted-only waiting for their coronation to the throne of king of corruption like their mentors in the top political echelon. Nigeria is a developing nation. Until we realise we are the developing and not our nation, we will forever be developing. Nigeria is your nation right! And you are the developing; therefore Nigeria is a nation of developing individuals. Only when you develop your slavery mindset to a boss's you will forever be developing and being developed will be FutureImpossibleTense.

To the President-stop fighting corruption-kill it or trap it. You don't prevent a loose bull from hurting the public by fighting it, you either kill it or trap it. If this cul-de-sac continues, others has no choice other than to be corrupted to survive.
